Krauma is a natural geothermal bath & spa at Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring

The spa is just an hour and a half drive from Reykjavik and it takes advantage of the naturally heated water from Europe’s most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver, with a temperature of 100°C (212°F). The hot water is cooled to achieve the perfect bathing temperature with cold water from Rauðsgil, which originates from a nearby glacier. The geothermal water is very rich in various minerals as well as algae. The main minerals are iron, aluminium, calcium, magnesium and sulfur, which are all very common in icelandic soil.

The spa offers 5 different hot baths and one cold plunge bath, all providing a range of benefits for the skin and body.The water is rich in minerals and provides various benefits for the skin and body. Krauma geothermal water offers benefits such as relaxation, pain relief, detoxification, improved skin health, and immune system stimulation. Soaking in the warm water can help ease tension and discomfort, remove toxins, and boost overall well-being.

By purchasing a ticket from Krauma, you agree to our cancellation policy.
All cancellations must arrive at least 48 hours prior to the visit for a full refund.
If cancellation arrives more than 48 hours before the your visit, full refund is available.
If cancellation arrives with 24 to 48 hours notice, a refund of 50% of the booking is available.
Your booking can not be refunded with less than 24 hours notice.
Guests are offered full refund or a new booking if Krauma closes due to unforeseen circumstances like bad weather, blocked roads or volcanoes.
